Relax and Just be grateful okay!!

Yo yo it's your girl Jo Jo...
So I'm going to talk about some photography issues right now and if your photographer or even a tech head you can relate to what I'm about to say.
So a few days ago my hard drive died on me.... yeah it's a sad thing for me because it had about 3 years worth of work on it.

And when it first happened I thought I would feel like my world had just ended, but amazingly I'm calm about the whole situation. I have accepted the fact that this is something that happens to all for photographers and people in business and to make sure it never happens again to always back up everything I work on.

Yes. I did not back up anything on that hard drive ,silly decision yes but being grateful that I still have my camera, I still have my lighting equipment and I have all the memories of working with all those amazing models, makeup artists, hairstyles, nail techs, amazing assistance & wardrobe stylists.... is more than enough for me.

I'm grateful for the experiences that I've had over those years and I so excited to start a new but this time I'm going to be smarter and pack my stuff up lol.

This post is not about me losing my work it's about always smiling and being grateful for the things that you have not for what you don't. If you come away with learning from my mistake or practicing gratitude that I think this blog post has done its job.

Im team NATURAL damnit!!!

Yes my hair is natural and I love it!!!

Yes for about 5 years now I have been completely natural so no chemicals have touched this head of mine!  I gotta tell you..... it was the best thing I've ever done for myself!

The feeling of no longer being a slave to my hair is the most freeing feeling this former relaxed hared girl could ever have!
I started getting relaxers a little later in life (when I was 11yrs old) while most girls (some younger then me) my age, their mothers were placing relaxers in their hair my mother was dead set against it! To this day I so wish I hadn't gone behind her back to get my very first relaxer! 
She was not happy about it, but she understood why I wanted it at the time.




Unfortunately my hair was never the same after I relaxed it but it has never been as healthy as it is now. It took a lot of time, a lot of trial & error but I eventually found products that I love & that work for me. I am still constantly reading blogs watching ,YouTube videos & trying out new techniques and products on my hair. 

If any of you have any suggestions for me please share them with me. I am always hungry for more information.

1St Blog post EVA!!

Welcome to my first ever blog post. I am super excited to start this new journey in my life words just cannot describe!!

I have been wanting to do a blog for a very long time now I'm finally making it a reality!!! I hope that you all will enjoy this ride with me!

Now a little about myself: I am a lover of many things... fashion, photography, beauty products, hair products, entertainment all things funny and excited!

By trade I'm a fashion & beauty photographer. I love & live for fashion and beauty! So much so that I figured why not share my experiences & products I love with perfect strangers!? Lol... some of you will begin to appreciate my humor ....while the rest of you ...I'm sure we'll think I'm crazy. Don't worry I'll still appreciate you for considering either or.

One of my favorite things to do when I'm bored (which is always) is play in my makeup & nail polish. And Trust me I have a lot of it to play in. Most models & other makeup artist think I'm in makeup business due to the fact that I have so much crap! What can I say? I love the stuff & I always have...
